Client Focus: The Booth House

Featured in our last post was Kitchen in the Desert, a local restaurant that we’ve provided sound and DJ services for over the years. There is a mural there and plaque on the side of the building, which tells the story of Oren Booth’s house. Since opening as a private venue, The Booth House has become another one of our steady clients in Twentynine Palms. The mining equipment on display at Kitchen in the Desert came from this newly restored, rustic-chic destination for those seeking an authentic look at what desert living was like at the beginning of the 20th century.

The new owners, Dustin and Karen Otterbach, have created a crazy-cool setting appointed with their mind-blowing multi-media art work. Dustin is a metal fabricator and Karen a painter, however that description doesn’t begin to encompass their many combined talents, seeing is believing. This renaissance couple have a keen eye for all things cool and utilize their skills to curate amazing art, artifacts and talent, leading to unparalleled experiences at their property. Easy Tiger has opened for many bands there, played in Dustin’s rocket art car, and worked with them on other projects and events throughout the high desert.
