What does gin, a rocket, and a DJ equal? A party! Easy Tiger recently helped curate the launch of Joshua Tree Distilling Company’s brand new Dark Sky Gin. The event was a lively affair with craft gin cocktails and a marathon DJ set by Easy Tiger’s Nic Neath. In addition, Otterbach Art’s “Rocket” was on display, which doubled as an immersive art installation, and a cool hidden lounge for sipping cocktails. The combined efforts of Easy Tiger, the Joshua Tree Distilling Co, and Otterbach brought to life a truly unique experience

A small family business, Joshua Tree Distilling Company produces several desert-inspired craft spirits and non-alcoholic beverages in their facility just outside the main entrance to Joshua Tree National Park. Their goal is to embody, support, and grow the existing high desert culture through their operations. You can visit them from 12:30pm to 8:00pm every Thursday–Sunday when they are open for walk-in tours, tastings, and bottle sales. Take home a bottle of Joshua Tree’s local flavor, whether it be gin, whiskey, or vodka.
Dustin Otterbach’s ”Rocket” is a unique and fun addition to any event. This art piece can be a general hangout spot, VIP room, or a cockpit for a DJ. It’s retro-future like interior is a throwback in time and I’m sure Howard Hughes would have loved it at his party pad.
